The world is an inn whose walls are hollow

None can rely on it, it’s a blurry image


But this very hollow world could be Paradise

For the harvest time, the farm should be well-tilled


Now that we’re travelers, now that we’ve to leave

Don’t be so unfaithful; don’t be detached from Divine knowledge

Don’t signify yourself so much, and be left unaware of God


There is no death, our death is another birth

Although our bodies will cease to be

The good we do is our book of deed’s guarantee


If only we could awake from the sleep of forgetfulness

If only we could free ourselves from the bonds of darkness


To come to know that our world has an Owner and a Creator, it hasn’t come into being by itself

Ultimately our goal is not sleeping

This much order, is not random and uncalculated


The Gnostics discover, the Intelligent know

But the ignorant are still asleep
